This includes our staff portal, member portal, partners website, API’s, and marketing website. Some of the notable projects I’ve worked on;- An email testing feature for our member portal, giving our users the ability to test email mailing lists before they are sent out. This feature enables the user to send test emails to all major email clients - Desktop & Mobile. It checks whether the email was caught by the destinations spam filter (and for what potential reasons), and provides screenshots for each client illustrating exactly how their emails will be displayed to the recipient.- Porting functionality from our legacy customer facing web portal over to three separate systems; marketing website, member portal, and partners website.- Two-Factor Authentication for our member and staff portals.I’ve gained experience with a wide range of technologies during my time at SMTP2Go;- Python - Flask- PostgreSQL- PHP- HTML/CSS/JS - JQuery & some Angular- Git- Some bash scripting- Linux - Debian Show less

The need for a project like HealthOne was born out of the Christchurch earthquakes in 2011 when a large number of medical facilities across the district were destroyed or inaccessible. The problem that arose was that medical facilities (general practice, pharmacy, hospice etc) across the district use differing patient management software with incompatible interfaces. HealthOne solved this by developing a single, accessible patient record that combines health information from differing… Show more The need for a project like HealthOne was born out of the Christchurch earthquakes in 2011 when a large number of medical facilities across the district were destroyed or inaccessible. The problem that arose was that medical facilities (general practice, pharmacy, hospice etc) across the district use differing patient management software with incompatible interfaces. HealthOne solved this by developing a single, accessible patient record that combines health information from differing levels of patient care. Software was deployed to medical facilities across the district, which aggregates and pushes patient information up to a central repository using a health messaging standard (HL7). A web portal was developed to consume all this aggregated data and is used by health professionals throughout the health sector. The web portal surfaces the complete and up to date patient medical history for health professionals to access who have both the rights and proximity. This gives clinicians’ confidence in making informed decisions around their patients care. HealthOne had me working in a Scrum environment with a range of technologies spreading right across the development stack. Major projects I was involved in included a complete revamp of their front end web portal used by clinicians across the Health sector, the development of a RESTful API implementing the new industry standard for exchanging healthcare information - FHIR, and extending and maintaining functionality of legacy systems.These projects gave me valuable experience with the following technologies;- C# .NET – MVC5, ASP.NET, Web services- JavaScript – AngulasJS, Dojo, Ajax, Jquery- SQL Management Studio – TSQl, TSQLT, Redgate sql compare & source control- Delphi- HTML- CSS- SVN - Finalbuilder & Teamcity- SOAPHealth Standards and technologies- Rhapsody Messaging Engine- CDR (Clinical Data Repository)- FHIR (Fast Health Interoperability Resources)- HL7 (Health Layer 7) Show less

My internship at Jade involved the development of a research tool aimed at aiding Jades UX-team during design phases of mobile products. The idea was to inform the UX-team of what end users like and dislike about existing competitor mobile applications across the various mobile markets. My work for Steam Solutions consisted of the Development and Maintenance of a workflow management system in replacement of tracking quote and job information using spreadsheets, which were often duplicated and inconsistent across several workstations. I used VBA/Access to normalise the data from the spreadsheets and provided a frontend desktop client for each of the workers.
