Started product innovation in both the dog and grooming categories that elevated PetEdge to a B2B leadership position in just 3 years.

Full P&L responsibility for the Tweeds catalog of women's apparel, accessories, footwear and jewelry. Supervised 16 executives in buying/merchandising, inventory management/relenishment, design and technical design and also provided direction for marketing, fulfillment and creative services. Increased imports from 50% to 90%, improving gross margin by 6 points. Reduced fixed direct expenses by $1.5 million in the first year of business plan I developed. Established the tweeds.com website in 1999.

President of a public holding company. Added two new divisions - Heckler Mfg. in 1994 ($20 million) and Quantum Sport in 1995 ($16 million) - to the existing Robby Len swimwear division ($28 million). Managed an 850 worker factory in the Dominican Republic making branded and private label girls sleepwear, boys and girls swimsuits and ladies intimate apparel.

Responsible for sales, gross margin, inventory, turnover and open to buy for 500+ stores in prestigious business & resort hotels, casinos, cruise ships and major airports selling gifts, licensed products, souvenirs, men & women's fashion accessories, women's/men's/children's resort wear, imprinted tee shirts, HBA, food, candy and newsstand products. Maximized the revenue potential of selling advertising space at airports. Increased product margin by 7 full points by conducting extensive range reviews, initiating price sensitivity testing of key items, implementing a direct import program and renegotiating Vendor costs, dating and terms. Improved pretax profit from 1% to almost 10% as sales grew from $100 million to over $135 million. in the first 3 years.

Full P&L responsibility for misses, junior and large sized sportswear for 312 retail stores and catalogs with over $200 million in sales. Successfully integrated 3 separate divisions under one manager, eliminating redundant staff. Improved gross margin by two points with an improved merchandise mix, an improved vendor structure and importing from both Asia and Italy.

Responsible for over $450 million sales and related gross margin of the Cheryl Tiegs Sportswear Collection, active sportswear, sweaters, swimwear and coordinate lines in misses, petite, tall and large sizes. Implemented the Cheryl Tiegs collection in 525 stores and 6 major catalogs which generated over $100 million in plus sales the first year and almost $2 billion over 10 years, all imported from Hong Kong & China. Achieved the highest % of sales and gross margin increases of all Sears departments for 15 quarters.

Responsible for the marketing, advertising, space assignment, sales promotion and assortment approval for all women's apparel, accessories, intimate apparel and jewelry in 30 different catalog media generating over $625 million annual sales volume.
