About Nick Motley
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California in the heart of West Hollywood, I am a singer and songwriter, who also works in the music business as an advocate for Black creatives. I am currently obtaining my bachelor's degree in Music Business and Black Studies from NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study, and plan to continue working in the music business with the hopes of creating a more equitable industry for Black artists. For the past year, I has been working as an employee under the two co-founders of Next Records, a New York City based independent record label that specializes in Hip-Hop and Rap music.
