Engineered new safety parameters for an existing robotics system, resulting in 0 new accidents since deployment. Developed and implemented a network topology for a high throughput robotic assembly line and established communication between all network nodes.

Designed, built, programmed, and flight tested a small patent-pending UAV robot with another intern to complete a radioactive sample search and collection mission completely autonomously in 8 weeks. Devised a targeting algorithm which takes a target‘s position on the drone‘s camera and calculates its GPS coordinates while the drone is in flight with accuracy down to the centimeter on level terrain, decreasing targeting time from ~5 seconds to effectively instantaneous. Composed a complex equation which wraps heading error around a unit circle without the use of conditional logic, simplifying the error calculation process.

Part of a small team of students designing a robust system to coordinate emergency child pick ups between schools and parents.

Managed the physical incoming and outgoing flow of communications between constituents, district office staff, and federal agencies, such as the IRS, SSA, VA, USCIS, and the US Secret Service. Researched grant opportunities and supported grant applications for businesses within the district, such as the MTA and Amtrak with the assistance and at the behest of the Director of Grants and Outreach. Drafted 40 letters in support of constituents designed to expedite processing times for USCIS and NVC casework. Entrusted to serve as the caseworker for several cases, the most high profile of which involved financial cyber crime and scams that required the assistance of the Secret Service, NYS AG, FTC, and the SSA's OIG.

Served as the face of New York 18's district office. Answered 1200+ phone calls, letters, and in-person visits from constituents needing federal assistance. Drafted letters for paperwork requests and office referrals. Converted the district office’s case archives from paper to digital form.

Trained the next generation of U.S. Air Force officers in all things discipline, professionalism, military skills, and military knowledge.
