I am a driven and dedicated individual with a strong passion and desire for all things business. I qualified as a Building Services Engineer from DIT Bolton St, my second choice degree behind Architecture! At the age of 24 I setup my first business which is now in its 24th year of trading. With over 23 years of business experience I have been taught many meaningful and influential lessons. The most important ones being, resilience and to move forward no matter what the circumstances. I have acquired important business acumen and skill sets that have led to the running of successful companies, namely 3D Design Bureau. (3DDB)Through 3DDB, I experienced a business start-up, growth, a deep recession followed by a rebirth. Today the company has grown to be a recognised and well trusted brand in the digital construction and proptech arena. I have managed to achieve this through building an amazing team around me and by instilling a simple but vital culture of…communication, collaboration, responsibility and respect. I also attribute, in no small part, the survival of the company through the deep recession, to Naval Adm William H McRaven, who’s wise words stopped me from ringing the bell on numerous occasions, even in the darkest moments. I am also creator of Virtual Shopfronts, a unique solution to the problem of vacant retail units. VirtualShopfronts have sold innovative window graphics worldwide and continues to do so. I also co-founded with my wife, Blind Faith Productions, a TV and video production company. Through it we delivered two very successful TV series of the popular Virgin Media ‘How Healthy Are You’. We also delivered some high profile promo video productions for some of the country’s most well known brands and companies.Finally, I love sport. I believe that a lot of successful businesses, their strategy and growth, mirrors those of elite sports teams. Like any great team, I have gone through tremendous highs and soul searching lows. I strongly believe in team work, hard work, individual skills, passion, drive and great attitude. I hold myself and those around me to a high standard.
