Manage the risk of a $10-$40 million inventory as part of the West Coast municipal trading desk. Act as a market maker in the municipal space, to provide liquidity to retail and middle-markets customers. Create fixed income opportunities for retail through positioning bonds. Bid items for inventory from bid wanted lists stemming from both electronic platforms (such as TMC & Tradeweb), and through other broker-dealers directly.

In addition to roles described within Liaison 2, I lead HNW Group in manager’s absence, overseeing weekly order flow of $15-$30 million. During the consolidation of the municipal desk (moving Los Angeles & New York desks to St. Louis), I took charge in managing relationships with financial advisors in those regions to ensure a smooth transition.

Joined High Net-Worth Group, which focuses on high-production retail and middle-markets financial advisors in fixed (a group of 50 - 100). I evaluated municipal inventory lists coming from over 40 different broker-dealers to identify attractive municipal debt offerings to supplement desk inventory. I took charge in tracking, analyzing and compiling reports monitoring order flow. Marketed internal municipal offerings to retail sales force. Managed larger retail inquiries (2 to 50 million) given client parameters & investment objectives.

In addition to all work conducted as an assistant, I took charge of processing weekly incoming retail order flow on the six month Treasury bill auction and other treasury auctions as needed. Assisted in creating fixed income sales ideas for financial advisors by creating sample portfolios based on client parameters and objectives. Trained new Trading Assistants.

Fielded 60 - 100 phone calls daily coming from Wells Fargo’s universe of 13,000 advisors to assist with inquiries involving the market, technology, and risks associated with specific securities. I obtained my Series 7, Series 63, and Series 52 in a five month timespan to put myself in position to pick up more responsibility.

As a Foreign Exchange (FX) Broker at FXCM, I work as an account relationship manager for FXCM's clientele on the retail side of their business. To do this successfully, I take a consultative, needs-based approach to understanding what clients are looking for. I use this information to give these clients a better trading experience and to generate more client equity for FXCM. In my role, I have consistently shown I am able to reach goals set for me by the firm (both objective, and subjective) and display marked improvement on targeted weak points.On top of my primary role as an FX Broker, I have also been able to gain exposure to many other departments such as dealing, liquidity, institutional foreign exchange, and other areas of the back-office. At the same time, I have been able to contribute to the firm by assisting with finding new ways to bring more business to FXCM.

I researched various stocks, generally in the energy and basic materials sectors, as those are Circo's sectors of core competency. I assisted in identifying and purchasing sustainable high-yield investments at the proper entry point. To do so, I used statistical analysis methods such as regression and trend analysis of both target investments, as well as the market as a whole. I also managed a database of over 250 stocks.

Door-to-door distribution of information. My goal was to attain 1000 signatures in order to get the candidate onto the general election ballot. Once the candidate made it onto the ballot, I worked in the office making and answering phone calls, maintained a voter information database, and worked with volunteers and supporters of the candidate in order to distribute signs throughout various neighborhoods in Omaha.
