Following my grandfather's footsteps, I began my professional career by stomping grapes, producing wine, and selling the end product directly to customers. I gained a passion for operations and I learned the importance of manufacturing high quality products, directing a large scale process from beginning to end, and the dynamics of driving a project to completion.I shifted my focus towards Biotechnology and sustainability and began working for a science and material innovation company. The strong foundation of skills built from the wine industry (strong work ethic, consumer care, project recovery, operations) I have applied to my current positions. I have managed and scheduled multiple projects, developed high throughput automated methods, negotiated with external vendors and executives, facilitated inter-departmental projects, and built high performing teams surrounded by trust and leadership.I have experience in cost reduction strategies, driving cross-departmental projects, managing and leading teams, and delivery management and policies.I value and support others. I am stable, sincere, and genuine. I am empathetic, and positive. I love seeing things through. You should be passionate about work, but work shouldn't be your only passion. I am an avid whitewater river rafter, I love watching sunsets, you can always find me dancing, and I still toast my wine glass to my grandfather and family.
