Contracted adjunct for English department. Served as instructor for two sections of business writing on-site at partner institution in China for eight weeks in fall 2019. Subsequent online remote delivery in Spring 2020, Fall 2020, Spring 2021, Fall 2021, Fall 2022, Spring 2023, and Fall 2023. Course enrollments include ESL students. Duties include course design, lecture creation and delivery, and grading of in-class assignments, midterm exams, final exams, and all papers.

Created print and digital pieces in support of corporate headquarters and nationwide franchise locations. Designs included customer-facing advertisements, literature, videos, infographics, and instructions. Produced materials for franchise development efforts. Responsible for several redesign campaigns, including new web graphic interface for national e-commerce brand. Corporate structure includes four distinct brands with unique styles, schedules, and protocols.

Served as teaching assistant for two years consecutively on-site during summer semester. Each semester included two (2) sections of freshman composition for a total of 120 ESL students annually. Duties included grading of class assignments, papers, midterm exams, and final exams. Prepared and delivered selected lectures.

Collaborated with regional county governments and FSU administration to develop regional economic surveys and subsequent analysis to determine workforce needs and deficiencies. Results of deliverables will influence general education structure and strategy of the FSU Office of Regional Development and Engagement.

Office duties included design and maintenance of advisory board catalog, event advertisements, promotions, and document editing. Included cross-departmental collaboration for promotional projects, as well as travel for college recruitment. Responsibilities included regular advising of students enrolled in “Professional Development II” course. Helped students develop professional employment materials and enhance interview techniques.

Maintained student files and helped conduct semesterly probation, warning, and dismissal (PWD) process under office administrative staff. Responsibilities included responding to student inquiries regarding PWD process and assisting in the development of academic recovery plans prior to the development of CAAR. Office duties included budget reviews, data entry, mass mailings, event planning, and daily office maintenance.

Worked with FSU’s Office of Admissions to facilitate campus tours and open houses. Position required up-to-date knowledge of student support programs and extracurricular activities, as well as regular public speaking. Required presence at all Open Houses to field student inquiries, provide information on academic programs, and connect prospective students with correct campus and academic representatives.

Duties included working all “FSU Previews,” where I developed program progression plans and advised FTF. Worked with director and university administration to coordinate events, monitor student performance, facilitate open houses, maintain public relations, create publications, and perform student recruitment for a program with enrollment of over 400 students.

Voting position on the executive board of university newspaper included entire design and layout of print newspaper and advertisements, printed weekly for a campus of over 5,000 students. Average weekly design took approximately 12 hours to complete on weekends. Included complete re-branding campaign and constant coordination with entire staff.

Designed and edited materials and programs for the 2016 Macedonian-American Leadership Conference and UMD Voice, the NGO’s magazine, along with social media and print advertisements and promotions. Attended foreign policy briefings, think-tank discussions, and Congressional receptions on behalf of the organization with subsequent reporting.
