This position leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of critical safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental processes, programs, and procedures in order to eliminate all injuries, industrial illnesses, and environmental non conformities. This position leads the facility engagement consistent with operations sustainability and footprint reduction objectives. The EHS Leader provides leadership and applies technical abilities to influence and engage employees at all levels of the organization, enabling the site to sustain world-class safety and environmental processes.

Greenville, South Carolina Area

As a Sr. HSE Specialist for BE&K Building Group, I am required to travel and stay on site during construction of projects. My roles on site include managing and implementing all environmental, health and safety policies, requirements and reporting, for both clients and BE&K Building Group. This includes climate surveys, safety audits, environmental impact assessments, risk registers and assessments, incident investigations and reporting. It is my duty to stay abreast of all OSHA and EPA requirements as well as the more stringent HSE requirements set within the company that are initiated to meet and exceed internal goals.

Mount Holly, North Carolina

Responsible for coordinating and managing the F.O.G program as well as the Industrial Pretreatment program for the City of Mt. Holly, NC. This includes conducting scheduled and random inspections of all Significant Industrial Users (SIU), industrial permitting for four SIUs and two federal superfund remediation sites, preparing annual reports and head works analyses for the state. Additionally, I act as a consultant and project manager for the city on projects with environmental impacts pertaining to storm water, new construction and collections. I am continuously looking for ways to improve unit processes and protect the City's water and wastewater treatment plants.
