Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Maintenance and improvement of systems and implementation of improvement programs- Arrange and conduct training as and when required- Work directly with the VP of finance with various planning exercises, such as forecast, budgets, profitability analysis, and reporting- Maintain and improve control processes over reconciliations, reporting, operational and other risks- Investigate into perceived problems of inefficiencies- Assist with new business acquisitions ensuring the current accounting package meets group reporting requirements- Adaptation of group accounting procedures to ensure an operational fit with the varying business units- Monitor financial status by comparing data sets with projections - Improve fiscal health with a thorough analysis of financial data and actionable insights that drive business performance including monitoring variances and identifying trends - Develop forecast models based on comparative performance metrics to maintain company forecast model and implement improvements - Establish business cases to support decision-making and support pricing decisions by creating innovative strategies for cost reduction - Assist in the monthly close process by analysing trends and variances related to revenue, and compare and correct data to reconcile financial transactions

Responsible for but not limited to:-Standard cost accounting for manufacturing and variance analysis- Budget preparation and management report- Coordinate office account preparation and fixed asset register maintenance- Managed payroll obligations and workers compensation claims- Managed stocktakes and inventory valuation- Managed accounts, purchasing, inventory and production staff

Tasked with managing all areas of the financial record keeping and general accounts administration for the business, duties required include but are not limited to:- Intercompany loan reconciliations- Create policy and procedures- Pronto system administration and management end of year rollover for Pronto for all companies- Setup of new companies in Pronto- Manage group chart for accounts and cashflow- Annual tax and Group FBT return preparation- BAS reconciliation and reporting requirements- Lodge IAS for all companies- Finance liability reconciliations and accounting- Assist in Pronto report development

Duties included:- Month end processes including AP, AR and Forex for four companies including joint venture accounting- Balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset register- Provide Pronto support to staff and administer accounts- Liaise with telecommunication companies, negotiate contracts- Liaise with IT engineers, and network management (LAN and WAN)

During this role, I was the Fuel Clerk required to oversee all accounts, reporting and administrative duties for the business including (but not limited to) - - Back charges and accruals for costing- Diesel fuel rebate, federal and state- Calculating pricing schedules- Use of stock control system to receive and issue fuel- Liaise with site personnel- Produce variance reports- Fuel card and records management- Liaising with the Taxation Office- Processing of fuel supplier accounts- Handle banking records and costing journals- Checking the end of the month accruals report
