Nichole Sullivan is the founder and Chief Maker of Keppel and Kismet, LLC., a creative design studio and small batch manufacturer of corporate gifts for small businesses. Born, raised, and educated in Baltimore City, Nichole has a long-held passion to be among the creative landscape of Baltimore. A graduate of University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) with a degree in Business Technology Administration, Nichole spent her entire corporate career in the financial sector, with more than 15 years as a certified Project Management Professional. Nichole made the leap to entrepreneurship 2017. In 2019, with a desire to inspire creativity and collaboration and to help build confidence in women, in particular, Nichole opened a brick-and-mortar creative workshop in Towson, Maryland. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Nichole made a series of pivots that landed her into her dream of creating on a larger scale as a small batch manufacturer. In this space, Nichole uses digital fabrication and woodworking to create bespoke and personalized products for small business to build brand loyalty with internal and external customers.Nichole is an alum of several local business accelerators in Baltimore, including Moms as Entrepreneurs (MAE) Makers Cohort (2018), Made in Baltimore’s (MIB)Home Run Accelerator (HRA) (2021), and Loyola Baltipreneurs (2022).
