Working with growers to maximise sugar yield by promoting crop blue print; includes all aspects of crop husbandry (fertiliser, seed and CP), variety selection and seed care treatments to match soil and grower requirements, to help growers maximise machinery (drill and harvester) and costs, field selection and cultivations. Responsible for supply of sugar beet into the Wissington factory by advising growers and harvesting contractors to meet haulier schedules and just-in-deliveries to reduce sugar wastage and maximise yields.Wissington factory area co-product coordinator responsible for sales of LimeX to growers and Topsoil to landscapers and sports pitches including golf course maintenance.
