As a Quality Data Analyst I am involved with crunching data and trending on complaints & unplanned service work orders, which in turn provides key input to which countermeasures need to be taken. I also provide the data needed for follow-up on quality parameters as well as providing input for management reviews.

I aid Dalan in experimental design, statistical analysis and interpretation of data and results. The main focus is on survival analysis and calculation of prevented fractions, as well as adherence to regulatory requirements with regards to clinical trials.

Termites invented agriculture long before we did. They cultivate a fungus in their nest, which produces little food packages for them known as nodules. Interestingly, they have managed to keep this monoculture fungus farm thriving for millions of years, without suffering from apparent diseases. This project aims to investigate how termites manage to farm a monoculture, while not succumbing to the threats involved with farming a genetically homogeneous crop.

My main responsibility is the analysis of a long term data set (20+ years), and describe how both environmental and genetic factors influence long term changes in inbreeding levels of ant colonies, and in turn how inbreeding affects multiple life-history traits such as growth and reproduction.

This project aimed to investigate where the ants find these toxic substances in nature. Although others are carrying on this research, I cut this grant short in order to transition to industry.
