Senior Engineer
Initially still present on the vessels, though increasingly only for assistance with mobilisations or demobilisations. Eventually, i was predominantly based at the company's Bromborough office. Survey Engineer
Still trading as Osiris Projects at this point, I continued to develop my knowledge and experience, spending time shared between on and offshore duties.Offshore role would include:- Installation and interfacing of various Geophysical and Hydrographic sensors- Online operation/acquisition with Geophysical sensors- Repairs and maintenance to equipment where necessary- Assisting with vessel electrical interfacing and troubleshootingOnshore role would include:- Creating and developing the base workshop facilities- Developing and implementing a basic asset management system- Developing equipment maintenance procedures- Basic routine maintenance of survey equipment- Testing and repairs of equipment and cablesDuring this period, in 2011, saw the launch of Osiris' first purpose-built 24 hour vessel the Tethra, i was heavily involved in the design of the electrical interfacing for all survey and vessel sensors including desinging a bespoke interface for the vessel's Reson 7125 multibeam transducers. I was also then invloved with the installation over in France.In 2012, Osiris joined the Bibby Line Group. Osiris moved to a much bigger and more suitable office space, where i was able to oversee and develop a dedicated workshop and warehouse facilty for the survey equipment.
