Multifaceted position where I keep the Company as a whole, and drivers in particular, in lock step with current laws, rules, and regulations. Investigation, education, and discipline are all part of my daily duties. I have built solid relationships with DOT/FMCSA officers and have developed a professional rapport enabling fair and candid discussions of the current safety issues buzzing the industry.I also handle a variety of claims issues, including cargo, property, and equipment damage. A typical claim involves investigation, assessment, and implementation of a plan to see the process through to close the claim. This is a team effort, where I work closely with the Operations Department to mitigate downtime and achieve a maximum recovery on loss.I also review and prepare a variety of contracts including those involving third party services, client agreements, and internal office policies. I am here to provide solutions. I do this through persistent professional and industry specific education, coupled with logical and reasoned assessment.
