I bring 20+ years of experience leading schools and mission-driven organizations towards breakthrough academic results in underserved communities. At the KIPP Foundation, headquarters of the nation’s largest public charter school network, KIPP Public Schools, I served as a Senior Relationship Manager, partnering with our regional Executive Directors of five regions (20+ schools) to coach and advise them to scale and reach more students while achieving strong academic outcomes. Prior to my work at the KIPP Foundation, I partnered with school and district leaders in the Bay Area to implement a school transformation model which led to significant academic improvement in a portfolio of schools in San Francisco. I was a founding teacher of the one of the flagship KIPP middle schools in the Bay Area, and led and managed a team towards becoming the highest performing middle school in the district and a California Distinguished School. I’m a Seattle native, and when I’m not working with schools I enjoy staying active and taking advantage of the outdoors here in the Pacific Northwest.
