Served as the Logistics Officer for a Reconnaissance Squadron in the 2nd Cavalry Regiment (SBCT) forward deployed in the Federal Republic of Germany with 3 Cavalry Troops, one Anti-Armor Troop, one Headquarters Troop, and one Forward Support Troop. Responsible for all aspects of sustainment planning while in garrison and during training exercises. During tactical operations, responsible for leading the Combat Trains Command Post and synchronizing efforts of the S1 Section, the Field Maintenance Section, Forward Logistics Element, and the Squadron Aid Station. Coordinates with the Forward Support Troop Commander to sustain all Troop Trains. In garrison, advises the Squadron Commander and Staff on logistics operations, monitors requisition and distribution of all classes of supply, and supervises theSquadron Command Supply Discipline Program. Coordinates with Troop Executive Officers and the Regimental Property Book Officer to manage equipment availability and accountability worth in excess of $300 million. Directly supervises 3 officers and 2 NCOs.

Served as an Executive Officer in a Stryker-equipped Cavalry Troop in 4th Squadron (Recon), 2d Cavalry Regiment (SBCT) forward deployed in the Federal Republic of Germany. Plans, resources, coordinates communication support, and resources training in support of Troop and Squadron combat and contingency missions. Responsible for the maintenance management and operational readiness of 22Strykers and six wheeled vehicles and their associated equipment valued in excess of $85 million. Responsible for managing all Class II, IV, VII, and IX requisitions and the Troop Property Book. Ensures all Soldiers and equipment are prepared to deploy, fight, and win in support of contingency operations. Ensures the effective and thorough employment of the Command Supply Discipline Program throughout the Troop. In absence of the Commander, take command and ensures mission accomplishment.

Served as a Scout Platoon Leader in a Stryker Cavalry Troop in 4th Squadron (Recon), 2nd Cavalry Regiment (SBCT) forward deployed in the Federal Republic of Germany. Responsible for the cohesion, leadership, leader development, training, discipline, tactical employment, combat effectiveness, administrative and operational readiness, logistics, morale, and welfare of his platoon, to include 14 Troopers, nine NCOs, and their Families. Plans, trains, and executes the platoon's assigned missions in support of Troop and Squadron training and contingency missions. Develops and maintains platoon standards and SOP in accordance with Troop, Squadron, Regiment, and Armystandards. Maintains accountability and manages the maintenance of four Reconnaissance Variant Stryker vehicles and associated property valued in excess of $17 million. Accepts responsibility for everything the Platoon does or fails to do. Additional duties include: Communications Officer and Unit Movement Officer.

Provided technical services support of a MET AN/GSC-52 satellite terminal. Responsible for operating, maintaining, monitoring, troubleshooting, and repair of Satellite Terminal systems, including connectivity to local and wide area networks, end-to end telecommunications, circuit switching systems, and Long-Haul communications/Transmissions systems.Analyze capabilities and performance, identify problems, take corrective actions to ensure the most efficient operations of the SATCOM equipment. Monitor status and performance of Transmission/Receive systems.Quickly respond to circuit outages and coordinate with distant end facilities and local Systems/Users, when necessary, in order to restore communications services.
