I was very fortunate to be involved in multiple aspects of this business. I was able to experience everything from delivery and forklift operation to facility management and outside sales. As Plant Manager I was responsible for hiring and training staff, supervising production, managing inventory, and facility maintenance. As a Licensed Water Specialist I was trained by Culligan in water chemistry and treatment. This gave me the opportunity to get out into the community and help families and business get better water. In this role my responsibilities included site inspections, water testing, and applications of water treatment, as well as customer service and marketing.

I worked independently and as a part of a number of construction crews on a variety of jobs. Some of the main projects included roofing, windows and doors, painting houses, as well as full remodels and major construction.

I marketed and sold a variety of products while recruiting and training other independent business owners. I also took part in Leadership Development Training which foccusses on business owner practices and mentality.

My responsibilities included contacting prospective clients to introduce our staffing company, interviewing and hiring employees, assessing employee skills to best match them with our clients needs, developing strategies to gain business in new markets, and building relationships with existing clients to help best understand their needs.
