• Held responsibility for all first party commercial and personal property claims for 75,000 homeowners and 25,000 commercial claims including inland marine, boiler & machinery, equipment breakdown, motor truck cargo, hull protection & indemnity and cargo claims.• Provided comprehensive leadership, guidance and support for a team of 400 claim professionals located in 6 major claim centers including the Large Loss Organization, the Catastrophe Office and the Marine team. Notable accomplishments while in the position included:- Completed a successful redesign and consolidation of 4 commercial and 6 personal lines claim operations that contributed to a significant expense reduction initiative that exceeded expectations while improving the overall customer experience. - Improved indemnity accuracy, the speed of closure and customer service with the development/deployment of a Homeowners personal property pricing team staff with 26 employees.- Responded to a major hurricane-driven catastrophe activity of 2004/2005, building a major claim response operation staffed with 90 employees with specific cat-focused and streamlined workflow supported by tailored practices and procedures - Successfully designed, built and deployed a Property Large Loss organization still in place today. - Deployed both Xactimate and Xactanalysis to the claim organization including the front-end integration of the Claim System which improved workflow, data analytics and performance management.
