Rancho Relaxo specialises in music and entertainment curation, booking, and live performances (DJs), grant writing, and business consulting services. With past lives as a commercial lawyer, general manager of a not-for-profit (Music Victoria), and performing musician/DJ and artist manager, Nick and Rancho Relaxo are well placed to assist and support you and your creative or business needs.Nick has extensive experience in a range of industries and roles, from grass-roots music industry management, tour management and performance, dealing with and advising others in the creative world (music, television, design, film, and fashion) through to conducting high-level commercial and corporate transactions and legal proceedings.Most recently, Nick was a proud and passionate part of the team at Music Victoria as General Manager, where his mission was to advocate for the interests of musicians, venues, music industry professionals and punters alike, and keep Victorian contemporary music on the map.Nick is a long term member of Music Victoria, and a passionate subscriber to PBS 106.7FM and Triple R 102.7FM, has previously been on the Executive of the LIV YLS, and was a Board Member of the Victoria University Faculty of Business and Law. Nick has volunteered with Arts Law and at the Footscray Community Legal Centre.Nick is also a musician, DJ, and an avid live music and local entertainment supporter, touring with bands both musically and professionally in Australia and abroad (Europe). Prior to reigniting a passion for music and commencing his legal career, Nick was for a brief moment a Specialist Service Officer (Pilot) in the Australian Regular Army.Nick has degrees in Law and Business (Music Industry), and a Certificate in Music Performance.
