Worked for Somerfield since leaving University in 1992.I spent 10 years at the sharp end of Retail, initially on the shop floor, then stock and order and supervisory roles. I quickly progressed through the Managment Training programme becomming a deputy Manager in 1994 and a Store Manager in 1997.In 2000, I wanted to progress beyond Store Managment and took up a Head Office secondment role in Store Operations which became a permanent position 6 months later.Over the past 7 years I been predominantley involved in change projects and progammes centrered around store replnishment and availability. I've also experienced and embraced massive organisational change, especially when Somerfield was bought be private equity investors in 2005. This was a truely liberating experience. I am now again in a period of change following the Co-Ops aquisition of Somerfield in Feb 2009.Specialties: Replenishement Systems and developmentOn-Shelf Availaibility improvementStore replenishment systems and processesDeveloping and executing strategies to improve availabilityLeading and embedding change projects and programmes
