Nick is a graduate of University of Newcastle with over 30 years’ experience in civil and structural design in general construction throughout the UK. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers and an Associate Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers. He has undertaken the civil and structural design of buildings within leisure, commercial , education, health, residential and industry sector using all main materials. Has worked extensively on historical properties and structures both restoration and refurbishment for National Trust and English Heritage. Civil experience includes the design of residential and commercial estates and quay and harbour works. Recently re-joined Cundall in 2015 after previous working for them between 1987 and 2000. Prior to joining Cundall was Nick was a Partner within multidisciplinary consultancy undertaking general design but specialising in biomass power generation and waste handling facilities. More recently worked in the power and offshore industry designing gas turbine power generation equipment and air pollution control equipment and facilities.Has undertaken roll of planning supervisor and CDM Co-ordinator since 1997.
