I was hired on a short-term contract to assist the media relations team with Covid, Western Australia logistical impacts and south-east Queensland and northern New South Wales flood media inquiries. I prepared numerous statements in answer to media inquiries on many issues, attended many top-level meetings to discuss crisis management in relation to new stock delivery arrangements to West Australia after the railway line was badly damaged, including media coverage of the first ever Woolworths coastal shipping arrival at Fremantle, and the closures of supermarkets due to floods and the impacts on stock deliveries to stores, prepared, arranged and was on site at the VIP and media inspection of the halfway stage of a new supermarket at Gordonvale, Far North Queensland.
