• Line Management of 4 HR Advisors and 30 Administrators incorporating the HR Service Desk, Employment Administration, Resourcing and L&D admin who manage processes for 9000 members of the force• Management of end to end transferee and promotion process including engagement with the College of Policing. Management of resourcing demands around postings, career breaks, secondments and transfers • Intake planning 6-24 months ahead to meet strategic and bespoke resourcing demands• Supported development of staff engagement survey for the Force• Address attendance / performance / misconduct issues within the team and coach and support advisors to do this • On project change team to review and implement new processes and structure for HR and Learning and Development. Including process mapping and job description review• Manage activities to support implementation of Attraction and Progression Strategy• Manage psychometric testing for the Force• Manage appeals on references or challenges to policy / process and escalation point to resolve customer complaints• Sole responsibility for decision making of police officer postings and redeployments to ensure resilience is balanced and maintained to meet operational demand• Collate, interpret and present information to CCMT / Home Office / College of Policing• Negotiate and influence internal and external stakeholders to ensure best practice and achievement of SLA’s / KPI’s• Budget and contract management
