Led Commercial sales in two Libstar subsidiary companies. Firstly, Denny Mushrooms, for 12 months, responsible for key retail accounts, food service as well as Denny overall growth. This was followed by 9 months in Libstar's Finlar Fine Foods subsidiary, responsible for the Woolworths key account, overall business growth and margin management , as well as new business into Food service. • Leading the entire Taste group “upstream’’/supply chain activities through the Subsidiary Buon Gusto Pty LTD including manufacturing (Domino’s pizza Dough – 2 plants), warehousing and transport (2 Distribution Hubs), New Product Development and Food Safety/QA, Health and Safety and procurement across five brands namely:- Domino’s Pizza, Starbucks, Fish and Chips Company, Maxi’s, and Zebro’s Braaied Chicken.• Responsible for 114 people, eight direct reports (Planning, Procurement, Technical, Production, Customer Service, Operations, HR, and Finance) the full Buon Gusto P&L, Balance Sheet , Cash Flow and leading on the cross-functional Taste Food Executive team. (Buon Gusto Turnover 2017 ~ R 400 mn per annum)• Achievements in first 12 months included the successful launch of a cost-saving project (elaborated in next point); realignment and restructure of entire Buon Gusto division to ensure more focused channels; the introduction of a Planning team; and recruitment of industry leaders to strengthen team, especially in Procurement and Technical. • Launched a successful cost- saving project branded UkuDala (“to create”) leading to R3.5 million in secured savings in the first 12 months with a team goal of R3.5 million in the 2017 financial year. Project ahead of target by September 2017 with a request from the group CEO for the program to be extended with the same methodologies across the entire business.• Led the team to passing the Starbucks food safety audit requirements which was 18 months delayed post the arrival of the brand in the business.

• Promoted to Yum Director of Supply Chain for New Africa markets and asked to join the New Africa leadership team, comprising each division lead, and reporting to the GM, Bruce Layzell• Managed a team of three Supply Chain managers based in South Africa while leading supply chain across an additional 13 Supply Chain managers in franchisee groups across 15 countries across Africaand responsible for R540 million spend per annum. (2014)• The Supply Chain team closed 13 projects achieving R10 million in cost saving and reducing Cost of Goods sold by 2.2% in 2014• Worked closely with the innovation and brand team launching seven new products in 2014 across the New Africa market menu boards, requiring cross-divisional and cross-border collaboration• Led a poultry project to reduce poultry prices in Nigeria by 25% in 2015 and a working capital management project to alleviate cash flow restraints for franchisee partners in Sub Sahara Africa.

• Managed the Supply Chain Division reporting into the Chief Operations Officer of YRI SA, Owen Viljoen• Led a team of five Supply Chain managers with R 4.1 billion Cost of Sales• Managed the two largest spend Accounts including Chicken (R 2.1 billion) and Coca Cola (Rand 310 million), including managing the Rainbow Chicken relationship.• Restructured the division by recruiting two more SCM managers and implementing an execution arm to improve assured supply in the Supply Chain.• Saved R 22 million through packaging changes within the Supply Chain in 2012.• Received CEO recognition and award for leading a high performance Supply Chain team in 2012 and contributions to the business.

• Founded Saffron Traders to take advantage of commodity and food ingredient trade opportunities into South Africa and the UK, and closely associated with the Petrow Food Ingredient group, a R 240 million (2012) food trading group. • Negotiated successful commodity deals in Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, China and India from the sourcing office in Manila, Philippines• Traded over 350 metric tons of niche commodities out of South East Asia• Increased the supplier base of our biggest client, the Petrow group, by 12 Asian suppliers. Secured a contract to consult to the Petrow group on their procurement out of South East Asia.• Launched an additional income stream for Saffron Traders by importing over eight 40 feet containers of furniture to clients in South Africa over the two and a half year period.
