He was the Operations Manager at Roxanna Oil Company for 10 years prior to joining 3rd Coast Energy in as sales management position.Nick is the youngest of Marlan Downey's (family oil company founder's) 6 children.  He is a member of the Houston Geological Society, the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the American Association of Petroleum Geologist since 2007, the Houston and Dallas section of the Young Professionals Network, a Texas Notary Public since 2015, and joined TEPA (Texas Energy Professional Association in 2022).  He is the President of Roxstar Enterprises, LLC, the owner of One Hit Quit fight wear and an oil and gas exploration company based out of Houston.
