My passion for entrepreneurship fueled my desire to start my own company from nothing, with no prior experience in the screen-printing field. This has allowed me to hone my skills in customer service, sales, and networking, as well as removing doubts and fears of the unknown. Experience in trademarks and intellectual property as a whole has also proven to be valuable. Most of all, I have enjoyed taking advantage of my creativity in design to realize my child-hood dream of becoming an artist.

Back in a supervisory role, I would now be completely responsible for the real property values of an entire county. New tasks included setting up and running board hearings, attending district meetings, as well as conducting and implementing results from new appraisal index studies and vacant land studies.

I really grew into my own as an aspiring land surveyor, with the incredible luck of having yet another great mentor. Here, I not only greatly expanded my experience and knowledge in construction staking and topographical surveys, but I also first learned how to use GPS in surveying. I soon began working as a contractor for the company with my own equipment, getting my first taste of self-employment and the responsibilities that come with it. My skills in a supervisory role grew tremendously as I managed not only the crew, but the logistical processes of each project down to expected time and costs to finish each.

I was very fortunate to learn from one of the best in the field, and quickly found myself taking on more responsibility and running jobs as a crew chief. From rural boundary surveys to topographic surveys and construction staking, my experience here was invaluable. Data entry and analysis, records research, and learning how to approach and manage client relationships were more skills I developed during these years.
