During the summer, I developed a Django web application to automate access of transit data, and display results from algorithms developed by the lab. I also assisted graduate student researchers in integrating their algorithms with data stored in a PostgreSQL server. During the school year, I am continuing to maintain the application I built over the summer as well as occasionally testing out new features.

During my time at Thomson Reuters, I developed a Datadog dashboard that displayed information relating to external vendor accesses, allowing my team to identify delays or high error rates during connection. To do this, I installed additional logging in approximately 12 vendor access points, which were then parsed by Datadog and aggregated on the dashboard.I also assisted in improving Datadog RUM logging, updating Freemarker and GWT components so that logging of sensitive UI items could be done safely without exposing PII.

In TA'ing, I manage weekly lab meetings, answering student questions, checking off and grading their work. I also collaborate with the professor and other TAs on lab and project content throughout the semester.

I instructed K-4 and 5-9 students in coding concepts using tools such as Scratch, GDevelop and Code.org, as well as HTML for older students. I also developed the curriculum for the summer to encourage student learning and growth through individual and collaborative projects.
