I am a senior corporate lawyer with extensive experience working in private practice and in-house. My experience includes:- working on Australian and offshore structured transactions. These transactions have included fund investments, co-investments, joint ventures, direct investments and disposals across a variety of asset classes such as infrastructure (including renewable energy investments), listed equities, debt, alternatives, private equity and property;- working on equity capital markets transactions;- providing advice on general corporate matters and financial services regulation to domestic and foreign entities, including in relation to continuous disclosure obligations, directors' duties, the ASX listing rules, financial services regulation, privacy and anti-money laundering;- providing advice on, and preparing documents for, the establishment and ongoing operation of investment funds;- negotiating documentation in relation to over the counter and exchange traded derivatives; and- negotiating commercial and IT contracts.I have experience:- working with a high degree of autonomy on matters that involve significant complexity and risk and require project management and the exercise of professional judgement;- taking a lead role in mentoring, developing and supervising junior lawyers;- managing internal stakeholders and external counsel;- assisting with the development of legal policies and contributing to legal team planning;- identifying opportunities to improve legal team operations;- providing training on legal matters; and- recruiting staff.
