I was Corporate and Community Fundraiser at Serve, a Northamptonshire charity supporting older to maintain their independence until Sept 2022. Developing business contacts, generating funding, running charity golf day, submitting funding applications.I have been employed in the Charitable sector for 8 years including at Teamwork Trust and MHNC. Prior to that I had been employed for over 30 years in local government managing local authority leisure services. My last position was Principal Community Services Officer where I was responsible for all events by Corby Borough Council and managing all the outdoor facilities operated by the borough including East Carlton Countryside Park, Rockingham Triangle, all woodlands and overseeing the management contracts for Corby Tennis Centre and Priors Hall Golf Course.Prior to this position up to 2012 I was Principal Sports Facilities Manager at Corby Borough Council. My responsibility included East Midlands International Pool, Lodge Park Sports Centre and West Glebe Pavilion.During my employment at Corby Borough Council I submitted grant applications and was responsible for generating £5m towards facility development.
