SERVE provides personal homecare and domestic services to older people in the community. Alongside wellbeing activities to support their physical and mental wellbeing and reduce isolation amongst the elderly. We operate in the North Northants area and throughout the pandemic have been running a door to door shopping service, Meals on Wheels and telephone befriending. One of our biggest departments is our transport service which involves a volunteer team of drivers taking people to medical appointments directly from their front doors. Recently we have been doing vaccination appointments for a large sector of our local community. We are proud to be working alongside partner organisations to deliver our ‘Carers Needs and Aspirations Service’ providing much needed social activities to informal carers across the county. We are currently extending our telephone befriending services into Kettering and Corby and we are pleased to say we have resumed our face to face seated exercise groups as well as reopened our Day Centre doors! Exciting times ahead!
