Design new machines, tools, & fixtures.Retrofits and upgrades to equipment already installed in the field.Reverse engineering machine components (shafts, guards, etc).Assist in the manufacturing and building process of equipment.Assist with the development of manufacturing processes.Assist the maintenance team with mechanical & fluid power trouble shooting.Design and/or spec. hydraulic systems & components.Use AutoCAD & Inventor to create concept drawings, production drawings, fluid power schematics, & plant layouts.

- Responsible for the mechanical design and fluid power design of specialtyindustrial equipment, mainly mold and die handle equipment. (Quick MoldChange & Quick Die Change equipment)- Design structural weldments, sizing pumps, motors, cylinders, speed reducers,and other components.- Correspond with customers to work out the details of their job, and keep them up to date on their projects.- Purchase materials and components.- Keep jobs on schedule and on budget.- Quote new jobs.- Produce production drawings using AutoCAD.- Prepare equipment manuals.- Assist with the installation and/or service of equipment at the customers facilities.
