Accountable for restructuring and delivering a £500m multi-phase recapitalisation programme across two highly regulated, safety critical operational Nuclear Licensed Sites. CDM Client for projects, including the completion & handover of an Assembly Building, the delivery of the pre-construction safety cases and initial installation for the refurbishment of a nuclear test facility. Established the team and approach for delivery of the next phase of site regeneration, taking two new facility projects through RIBA Gates 0 & 1.

Responsible for implementing the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul strategy for Civil Aerospace at a time of strategic change in the MRO network and how it is supported and managed. Leading a team to work with partners and JVs globally to develop new overhaul facilities in the USA, Singapore, Hong Kong, China and Egypt, implement changes in existing MRO bases and drive readiness for new engine types across the MRO network, as well as establish ways of working for a new ‘MRO Services’ team, integrating previously disparate elements into a new department. Director of Egypt Aero Management Services (EAMS) 2018-19, representing Rolls-Royce in this JV to support the development of the Egyptair facility in Cairo.

Established a Major Projects department within the Turbines Supply Chain Unit, forming and leading programme and functional teams to initiate, govern and deliver a global portfolio of major capital projects worth >£250m, including new technology, new manufacturing & research facilities and manufacturing transfer projects for complex components.

Lead the £2m pre-sanction activity to define and gain approval for a £200m two phase project for a new facility on a green field site in Virginia, USA. Accountable for developing the plan to deliver the agreed business case, agreeing this with corporate, regional and business unit stakeholders, as well as establishing the project processes and team.

Delivered into production a £13m capital project to refurbish a 50yr old aircraft hangar and equip as a new manufacturing facility, recruiting a new operations team and introducing new technology and new complex products into the facility. Ran the facility for the first year of operation as Operations Manager.

Developed and implemented a corporate New Product Introduction gated lifecycle control process and supported implementation on several significant engine projects (JSF135, Trent 900, MT30, TP400, Olympus) and specified a web-based content delivery system for the process.

Various Manufacturing Engineering leadership roles within a facility producing turbine blades for aero engines, culminating in leading the facility technical team.

Responsible for pre-certification validation testing of Trent 500 Fan hardware, including Fan Blade Off and Bird Ingestion engine tests, and post-certification modifications to the Transmissions system.

Coordinated a programme of national events each year, and personally organised major weekend events such as ‘Back Home’ in Blackpool in 2006 (Winner of Classic & Sports Car Best Club Event of 2006), and 'Diamond Rock' for 500 cars and 1000+ people at Rockingham Motor Speedway to celebrate the diamond jubilee of TVR in 2007. Mentored and supported major event organisers in subsequent years.
