My internship/mentorship at VOLT Studios as a video editor and content creator has been a great industry experience. I had the opportunity to observe daily workflow and sharpened my skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. I gained more insight about top and tail editing, timing, color correction, continuity and using strong imagery and audio to drive the story forward.

My internship at Fallon was for a 2.5D, Virtual Reality "Rock-umentary" project. As a production artist I created assets for almost every scene and was in charge of all assets and scene composition of three acts. I was given 2D images to converted into 2.5D assets as well as modeling and texturing full 3D assets such as building, statues, zeppelins, streets, etc.All assets were modeled and textured in Maya and were exported as .fbx compatible with the Unity game engine. The Rock-umentary comprised of three scenes and ten acts and a whole lot of heart. I attended weekly meetings with art directors and a small team of amazingly talented people who pushed me creatively into new artistic territories. I learned first hand of the importance of communication, file structure and organization.
