I live for elegant solutions to complex problems. My graduate studies have given me the opportunity to continually apply that passion to new, hard problems in graphics and visualization. My published work has focused on scientific visualization at both the large-scale HPC and the desktop level. My dissertation topic is light field rendering, and I am particularly interested in applying the techniques I’ve developed towards high-quality, low-latency rendering in VR.My solo projects have given me the opportunity to get comfortable with every stage of software development--from mere idea to fully realized proof-of-concept.
