Through my private consultancy and investment company, LIL, I provide a range of consultancy services which have included non executive directorships at Spark Energy, Belvoir Lettings PLC and Lettingweb, Scotland’s letting portal. I am currently Chairman of Jackson-Stop, Bamboo Auctions and Propelr, director of an underwriting business at Lloyds of London.

Following Zoopla's acquisition of Propertyfinder from News International I became Major Accounts Director of the combined business to oversee the commercial relationships with the principal agency firms in the UK. The company enjoyed compound growth over the subsequent period as it consolidated its position as the second largest UK property portal. I left.

Jointly founded Propertyfinder, the property portal which over a five year period established a client base which included many of the best known agency firms in the UK. The business was merged into a subsidiary of Norwich Union, before being sold to News International and the REA Group. The founding directors sold out the majority of their equity interest.

Partner in charge of the firm’s UK land sales, dealing in the sale or purchase of land and rural estates. Responsibilities included press liaison, marketing and all professional issues relating to the sale of farms and landed estates including some of the most prestigious properties in the UK and Ireland.
