For as long as I can remember, I’ve been asking questions about how we can make the world a little bit better. As I’ve learned about the inequities that have shaped the world we currently live in, I’ve committed myself to learning more about the social systems we are all a part of and how these systems are interconnected with the world around us. Understanding the major environmental and social challenges we face, I know the value that working collaboratively can add to combating these crises. I also consistently remind myself of the importance of bringing passion, optimism, humor, and joy to these conversations to drive them forward toward tangible change.With a background in philosophy and sociology, I bring a thoughtful perspective on how society has grown and ethics have evolved within a context of historical and cultural factors. This grounding helps me to understand where we’ve been, but more importantly, provides the foundation to help shape where we’re going. Coupled with my sustainability-focused business education, I want to use these skills and perspectives to help drive substantive, positive, environmental, and social change for the world. As I wrap up my MBA I would like to connect, collaborate, and share ideas with like-minded changemakers!
