Led the turnaround of the CR&IR (BMI) business unit at Fitch Solutions, reversing years of subscription sales decline to deliver growth in 2021 and 2022. Created and worked closely with the excellent BMI management team to create and deliver on the turnaround strategy. Aligned the research and data teams in the business unit much more closely with marketing, sales, product and customer services. Drove higher web usage by by improving content and navigation on Fitch Connect and adding new tools for clients e.g. the data tool. Kick-started new logo sales and drove price increases and renewal rates by focussing on client need above all else. Responsible for delivering the acquisition of the GeoQuant business, a high frequency, data-led, AI, geopolitical risk business, in 2022, and integrating it into BMI/Fitch Solutions.An active member of the Fitch Solutions senior management team, I contributed to the creation of the Fitch Solutions Mission, Vision, Goals and Values in 2022.

During a near ten year period at CRU, I led the business through a series of significant changes that helped to transform its fortunes. These included working with the Exec team to develop the quality of the work generated by CRU, including delivering a new online strategy, extending the office network worldwide, changing the culture and adding greater value to the customer. The business moved from being a loss-maker to delivering record-breaking profits.
