Operations Leader
Milling Consumables; Manage the Milling Consumables Operations Team on a daily basis including customer service, call monitoring, receiving, shipping and warehousing.Assist with operations activities as required, including; responding to customer inquiries (calls, faxes, orders in-box, credits, etc) and logistics support requirements.Coordinate the distribution, tracking, follow-up, and expediting of open orders to ensure the proper materials are delivered on time to customers and to regional facilities.Implement inventory accuracy through daily cycle counting which improved the performance of Milling Consumables fill rates, order accuracy and management of materials in terms of shelf life.Design material planning re-order points and MRP (Materials Requirement Processing) of purchasing in SAP.Assist in the review of current processes and the development of recommendations to optimize systems and facilitate process improvement of BPS processes in SAP.Achieved departments' highest profitability margin for fiscal year 2011 of 25.4%.Support the credit review team in resolving customers' accounts, along with resolving any open issues in regards to invoices, payables or financial issues.Coordinate the scheduling of resources including approval of overtime, timesheets, and management of expenses.Conduct periodic PPP (Personal Performance Planning) and facilitate the personal development of each team member including customer skills improvement, SAP transaction processing and product knowledge.
