Extensive knowledge of Electricity Metering and Settlements.I have spent 28 years in Electricity Utilities in both the UK and Australia. I started with research into Power Systems Modelling and then moved into the Commerial world. The majority of that time has been spent in Electricity Metering and Settlement in first the UK and now Australia, either designing and building bespoke systems for major Utilities, or consulting and assisting companies in creating the best architectures for their own goals.After a career in Consulting through Logica, CGI and Capgemini, I've spent the last 5 years at Itron continuing to help customers realise their goals. I started in Product Marketing and Technical Presales and now lead the APAC Technical Sales team delivering advice, business solution offerings and technical consultancy.While I started in Electricity, it has been an exciting journey to now spread into Gas and Water systems alongside Smart streetlights and city sensor applications, Backed by the portfolio of products and systems Itron produces, the challenge now is how to make business insight out of the myriad elements and communication options.
