NM March 2008 ­ October 2008 Senior Project Engineer ­ Fort Bliss Expansion Program (Macgregor Range Projects) Communicate with Customer, Contractor, and Corps of Engineers to ensure the delivery and management of projects including; the Ammo Supply Point Expansion ($18M), Live Fire Shoot Houses ($4M), and Urban Assault Course ($3M), Light Demo Range ($1M).

Project $500M + Facilitate RFI's, change orders, and proceed orders for the Final Site Work ($15M) and Central Energy Plant ($60M) by fact checking for any errors, costing change orders, and ensuring the quickest possible exchange of information between the contractor and A/E. Hold weekly negotiation meetings with contractor and subcontractors to provide a fair price for the owner. Negotiations consist of a face to face meeting with contractor to come to a reasonable and fair agreement on time and money

compare their pricing with the estimate at hand from Jacobs' estimators. We ensure that the owner is getting the best fair market value for the total change order. Field coordination with contractors, subcontractors, A/E and the inspectors on daily basis to update the owner about progress anticipated dates of completion. Work with A/E to find reasonable resolutions to any issues throughout the project by brainstorming solutions and finding a cost effective way to make the change. Communicate with contractor and subcontractors to check progress and any issues that may hinder the project.
