About Nick Read
Having retired from medical practice and research and more recently from running the IBS Network, I devote most of my energy to writing about unexplained illnesses, such as the Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), and whatever else seems interesting. I maintain my psychotherapy practice, trying to help people overcome or cope better with their illnesses. I try to keep in touch with recent thinking on IBS, trauma and the relationship between the mind and the body.
