I served as a board member for META, helping to plan, setup, and operate the annual Brainstorm K20 educational technology conference in The Dells, Wisconsin. The conference targets K-20 school technology employees and leadership, giving hands-on guidance and collaboration opportunities during the annual 2-day conference and throughout the year. My primary charge was for A/V capabilities for the conference, though I also personally presented several workshops and sessions focusing on Layer 2/3 networking, network operations metrics and reporting, and help desk operations. I took a lot of pride in creating and delivering the workshops, and have found that I enjoy teaching these technology concepts.

I provide leadership and direction in all areas of technology within the Sparta Area School District. My team is responsible for teacher and student workstations, mobility, communications and network systems. Every day we see great opportunities to help our teachers and make a better technology environment for the staff and students. I also am responsible for all network and systems operations in the district.I love the opportunity to be able to help the students of the Sparta community in some small way, by working hard to continuously improve systems and provide access. I feel a great sense of accomplishment when I hear positive feedback from students and teachers!

I oversee technical operations for TD Uptime, a Managed Technology Performance service of Technology Dynamics. We provide a high level of value for SMBs primarily in the Architects & Engineers vertical. We also provide expert project management and network services for larger environments in other markets, with focus on K-12, manufacturing, legal, and insurance.
