Exovent’s Mission is to save lives and improve patient experience through enabling those with respiratory distress to be successfully treated with Negative Pressure Breathing Support. I have been working with the Exovent team since March 2020 and developed one of the first Exovent concept negative pressure ventilators. I have since moved to the role of engineering director and provide support to engineeirng activities within the group and to our pioneer partners across the globe.

As Group Chief Scientist I was able to apply a strong focus on tecnical development across the whole company both in the oil & gas and water buisiness units. My work included, leading technical development, expanding the IP portfolio and providing consultancy and guidance to the company.

Managing Brinker's R&D, running development projects, leading technical development and expanding the intellectual property portfolio. A highlight was becoming a finalist of the Royal Academy of Engineering's MacRobert Award in 2006.

Lecturing in Safety and Reliability in electrical and electonic systems, and Power Electronics.My work concetrated on cooperative work with local industries, working on subsea acousting telemetry, measurement while drilling systems and remote pipeline isolation tools. I also provided consultancy to local firms for electromagnetic compatibility compliance.
