Responsible for Transportation Management & Procurement, End to End Visibility, Live and Supply Chain Science product suites

Responsible for regional America's development initiatives in the information arena; this includes development of data warehouses, integration with ERP systems, accounting and CRM platforms; coordination between the various business units (product, compliance, IT etc.) to ensure that the America's region achieves major milestones of the road-map and dependencies of the all information based projects ensure timely deliveries.

Duties: Spearhead new initiatives for the North American Ocean Product; the goal to achieve improved efficiencies in operating procedures, create greater customer satisfaction and provide “best-in-class” service.• Lead Advanced Manifest System (AMS) project to file shipment information with US Customs before loading cargo on the vessel; change management requirements were immense but have resulted in yearly savings of 2 Million;• Lead ocean product initiative to create process and sales initiative for new regulatory requirement (10+2); expected yearly gross revenue 2.5 Million.• Designed system process to aggregate large pool of shipment data; improving data quality and automating corrective action notices to operational staff throughout shipment life cycle.

Duties: Deploy directives from ocean product management regarding technical changes in tools and processes for the North American region. Projects reduced duplicate data entry and improved visibility of shipments to internal and external customers.• Completed multiple concurrent projects: FMC Tariff filing, Global Pricing Application, EDI Warehouse, EDI data transfer with vendors (Rates and Container Status Updates)• Coordinated project deployment and development with senior management of multiple regions (North America, Europe, Asia);• Conducted on-site training programs and maintained library of manuals and technical documents.

Pricing modules included tools for multi-modal pricing: air, ocean, trucking and brokerage. Applications were still used 5 years after my departure by a user population exceeding 3,000 worldwide.• Established pricing policy and developed tools for global sales force of 1,000 associates to target, quote and forecast yearly customer activity;• Wrote quarterly financial statements for Pacific Eastbound ocean product, gross revenue USD120-million;• Created and deployed a new automatic notification system to alert customers of incoming shipments automatically, process in place 5 years after departure from Fritz;
