Group-level accountability for Development phase of all upstream ventures, and leadership of global upstream Development functions (Development Managers, Petroleum Engineering and Development Geoscience).Delivered plans and strategies in support of all Group upstream assets (including Australia QGC, Bolivia, Brazil, Egypt, India, Kazakhstan, Norway, Tanzania, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, Tunisia, UK, US L48), exploration, and business development opportunities. Developed and maintained constructive relationships with existing and potential external JV partners, government entities and contracting partners.Reported into group Executive, informing decision-making for investment and portfolio decisions and business planning, through project assurance, readiness-to-proceed decisions, benchmarking, risk and uncertainty communication, and expert advice.Led global community (300-500 technical professionals, from 30+ nationalities, in 13+ countries) through c.a. 4 years of change, including the Shell-BG integration; focusing on business delivery, capability development, community cohesion, and reshaping for resilience under sustained low prices.

Led Burullus WDDM and Rahspetco Rosetta Exploration and Development Geoscience activities, including Rashid Phase 1 and Scarab/Saffron development programmes.
