I moved in a new role when Jane Putley joined from News UK. As an Agency Lead I was responsible running a sales team of four Agency Partners across Aegis, Opera, Publicis, IPG, Havas, 7 Stars & Goodstuff across our display print portfolio as well as being responsible for the reporting, title management and day to day running of the newspapers. As well as bringing in revenue the team were tasked with building and developing core revenues, new revenue streams, seeing implementational and comms planners, working closely with our partnerships team, and to also try and find incremental digital revenue within print and publishing teams

I ran a sales team of fifteen people across newspapers, magazines and inserts in a newly formed Mail Brands department reporting directly in to the Deputy CRO. The role was responsible for delivering revenues of circa £140m, day to day management of the team, introducing and installing a new fixed grid trading model with our network partners and independent agencies, reporting and budgeting, efficient flat planning and paginations, as well as efficiently communicating and working with other departments within the business. One of the new departments main focuses was to make our print and digital commercial teams more aligned which meant that I also had a close working relationship with our Senior MOL Management team and worked on ways to bring our print and digital trading teams closer together.
