I was employed at 4CGroup of Companies as the sole Project Manager in 2014. Over the next 5 years this position was expanded greatly and I grew to enjoy the Business Analysis side of the job more. I was involved in various key projects for the company, working closely with suppliers and TelCo partners to design and implement various Mobile Money offerings within Africa and other emerging markets. A few notable implementations:- Rolling out of the smartphone application for Vodacom/Vodafone in Mozambique- Managing the transition from Generation 1 to Generation 2 Mobile Money Platforms - Design and Management of the rollout of a comprehensive USSD based event ticketing system for use by Vodacom Lesotho- Design of a comprehensive USSD cellphone layby system for Vodacom DRC- Implementing and managing the rollout of various Mobile money Financial products (Loans, Savings, Forex, Cross Border Remittance)- Implementing and managing various rollouts of Mobile money Paybill services (TV Services, Utility Services)- Implementing and managing B2B, B2C, P2P payment services

Originally based in the East London offices, I was quickly deployed to work at the PMO at the Department of Roads and Public Works in the Eastern Cape reporting directly to the PSO Manager. My original duties consisted of proofing project documentation, assisting in tender creation and general administrative duties. I was then moved to the finance section where I assisted the financial manager in various administrative tasks such as minute taking, data collection, collation and reporting, creation of meeting packs and general meeting organisation. I was tasked with creating a variety of financial reports which were circulated throughout the department.
