Working to advance the multimedia arts project A Peace of My Mind by expanding its national reach, developing connections with groups and institutions around the country, booking exhibit displays, keynote addresses, and workshops, and developing curriculum. Our mission is to use storytelling and personal narrative to bridge divides and encourage dialogue about pressing issues of the day.

As a Peace Guide, I work in a K-8 school to help students develop conflict resolution skills, build healthy relationships, and grow in self-esteem.

I worked to create a space where kids can learn self-empowerment, respect, relationship-building and problem-solving skills through play, curiosity, art, focused training, and working consciously through challenges.

I worked with preschoolers in a natural setting to cultivate wonder and curiosity about themselves and the natural world.

Provided client orientations and skills training and assisted them in preparing to embark on wilderness trips. Cleaned and organized camping and canoe equipment. Shop and grounds maintenance and upkeep. Drove shuttles to wilderness entry points.

As a story artist, I produced the Watershed Moments project, which documents the story of the effects, on an individual and community level, of the 2016 Louisiana flooding. Through the process of conducting extended interviews with flood victims I was able to tell an intensely personal yet big-picture story of tragic loss and profound wisdom. -Photographed portraits, locations, and events with the aim of bringing to life the ideas and stories that propel our world forward and connect us as people. -Traveled to the Philippines to work on a creative storytelling project prior to the Filipino national election.-Continually exploring and documenting the detailed stories of everyday life around me.I also created a multimedia storytelling project called The Idealect. The Idealect was an independent narrative-development initiative which aimed to create a compelling forum for a nuanced exploration of the world and the people in it. Through interviews with a wide variety of people about the values that compel them in their work and creative storytelling elements, the project sought to cultivate a culture of curiosity.

Helping guests at this Mediterranean inspired restaurant feel welcome and at home was a joy to me. My work consisted of welcoming guests, seating them, continually communicating with waiters to manage the flow of guests, taking to-go orders and packaging them, answering phones, cleaning, and being attentive to other unexpected ways I could help.

-I played a role in multiple family businesses including TMT Integrity Flooring, TMT Tree Service, TMT Rental Properties and Management and Creekwood Acres Rejuvenative Farm-I developed a self-sufficient, problem-solving, and proactive approach to work by which I coordinated with clients to complete jobs on schedule and exceed their expectations.-Always expected to think for myself, I initiated next-step projects, assisted in property management, and developed strategies to increase labor efficiency.-Regular family meetings focused on aspects of finance management, quality, marketing, and business operation.

-Took photos at campus events for marketing purposes, both online and print publications-Edited photos using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom-Creator, promoter, and daily manager of the “Beneath the Crown” Project. Conducted hundreds of interviews with students and staff, edited those interviews and blogged daily about each story. Managed social media, the primary medium for the project.
