In addition, I look across the horizontal businesses to benchmark and introduce best practices and develop processes/tools to enhance the integration between the design engineering functions and production manufacturing. ● Creation and implementation of the EMT Capital Investment Strategy for New technology implementation.● Create and Execute Digital, Additive Manufacturing, High Value Metrology, Composite, Welding, NDE and Product Optimization Strategy for Oilfield Equipment● Create and manage collaborative projects around new technologies across horizontal business units, Catapult Institutes, Scottish Enterprise and UK Universities across various emerging technologies● Subject matter expert in all advanced metrology applications for complex assembly at OFE manufacturing facilities globally● Advanced Forming Research Centre Managing and Technical board Member● Lead the execution of Paperless, VR, AR, Model Based Definition and several other digital technology Initiatives● Create and Execute Lightweight Technology Strategy with the National Composites Centre for SPS● Be the connection between Engineering & Manufacturing supporting all NTI (New Technology Introduction) initiatives across Oilfield Equipment, ensuring harmonisation of processes. ● Be aware of all BHGE O&G OFE Manufacturing capacities and stay aware of competitive intelligence for opportunities to leverage and drive Industry Trends. ● Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to Manufacturing, Engineering and Customer problems.● Review manufacturing process and to develop new Assembly System and processes to reduce lead time to customer.

 Overseeing the product quality of over 75 Suppliers from Electronics to Machining and heavy Forging.  Serve as supplier quality interface with customer’s quality and operations team. Develop and improve quality processes at vendors to drive down defects and Cost of Quality. Conduct surveillance audits to assess supplier’s process, products and quality management system. Conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions for identified non-conforming materials Monitor supplier non-conformance performance via GRA, identify and drive process analysis Provide technical guidance to suppliers toward assuring product / process compliance with engineering drawings and specifications Work closely with Operations, Sourcing COE's, Business teams, Manufacturing, and Engineering to eliminate roadblocks and communication barriers that may affect quality and delivery requirements. Trained and experienced in use and handling of Leica laser scanning AT402 & AT960 equipment in use on inspection of CTQ’s on tree frame assemblies. Implement and deliver the business/sourcing strategy. SQE focal on Material Review Board meetings representing Sourcing, SQE & Supply Chain

-Orchestrating all in-country product localization, cost-out and offset obligations.-Lead new product qualification through RFQ to part placement. Drive localization and cost reduction initiatives-Review supplier manufacturing processes, inspection methods and quality control system. Work closely with cross functional and project support teams to ensure compliance to GE PO, drawing and spec requirements-Review and approve first article packages for hardware manufactured at suppliers-Lead review of non-conformance at supplier and investigate quality events, identify root cause, review supplier corrective actions and validate sustainability of actions post implementation-Drive/Support improvement in quality and yield at supplier, use quality control tools to reduce defect PPM-Qualify, train and mentor suppliers to GE Aviation requirements-Conduct process capability, first time yield projects to reduce rework, non-conformance and establish process stability. Drive process optimization of supplier manufacturing and fabrication processes-Conduct quality, special process and lab evaluation audits to check, monitor and qualify supplier quality system and processes-Manage, track and report quality and sourcing metrics to leadership-Review and approve first article packages from suppliers-Daily quality assurance of mass production-Conduct workstation/manufacturing process audits, Shop floor tours to validate quality control & manufacturing lead time-Lead review of non-conformance at supplier and investigate quality events, identify root cause, review supplier corrective actions and validate sustainability of actions-Drive/Support improvement in quality & yield at supplier, use quality control tools to reduce non-conformance & prevent escape-Qualify & train suppliers to GE Aviation requirements-Conduct quality, special process & lab evaluation audits to check, monitor & qualify supplier quality system, production and processes to meet GE Aviation requirements
